Why Christains suffer, are we not supposed to be enjoying the world our Father is the creator of heaven and earth 🌍 but sometimes we find ourselves in pains, pains is one thing we all try to avoid, but somehow, we can’t escape it. Whether it’s the pain of betrayal, loss, failure, delay, heartbreak, disappointment, sickness, or just life not going the way you expected — pain will come. But here’s the truth that many don’t realize: God doesn’t waste pain.
Yes, the pain you’ve gone through or you’re currently facing is not meaningless. It might feel empty. It might feel like God abandoned you. But in God’s kingdom, nothing is wasted, especially not your pain.
Pain Can Be a Pathway to Purpose
Some of the most powerful people in the Bible went through intense pain before walking in their calling. Why Christains suffer is a question most young believers and Gen z keeps asking, well suffering and pain is designed to prepare us for greatness. Every great Christian in the Bible who went through pain and suffering ended up greater.
Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, thrown in a pit, sold into slavery, wrongly accused, and thrown into prison. But in the end, he became Prime Minister in Egypt and saved an entire nation.
David was anointed king but spent years running from Saul, hiding in caves. That pain shaped him into the man who would lead Israel with a heart after God.
Jesus Himself was described as a “man of sorrows” in Isaiah 53. He went through unimaginable suffering — but that pain was the doorway to salvation for us all.
God didn’t ignore their pain. He used it. And He can use yours too.
Pain Has a Way of Shaping Us
Pain humbles us. It opens our eyes. It exposes what we really believe. It brings us to our knees when pride would have kept us standing tall.
Sometimes, it’s through pain we learn to pray deeply. It’s through pain we learn to let go and trust God more. It’s through pain that God removes the noise around us and gets our attention. Some lessons only pain can teach.
“We glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope.” Romans 5:3-4
Pain brings growth. If you allow it, pain will work something in you that comfort never could. This is major reason why Christains suffer(growth)
God Turns Pain into Testimony
That thing you’re crying about today, one day will be the testimony someone else needs to hear.
Maybe your heartbreak will help someone else find healing.
Maybe your sickness and recovery will spark another person’s faith.
Maybe your business failure will become the wisdom someone else needs to succeed.
God is not wicked. He is not careless. He is a Master Potter — and even when you feel broken, He’s reshaping you.
Pain Brings Us Closer to God
Nobody prays more sincerely than a person in pain.Let’s be real — in our comfort, we often forget God. But in the fire, we call on Him.
Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
When life breaks you, don’t run from God. Run to Him. That pain might just be the invitation into deeper intimacy with Him
Let God Use It
You may not understand why you’re going through what you’re going through. It may not make sense now. But trust this — God sees the full picture.
Sometimes, the pain you’re feeling is the very thing God will use to build your character, sharpen your focus, redirect your path, and prepare you for what’s ahead.
Don’t waste your pain by becoming bitter. Let God use it and make you better. We believe you now understand why Christains suffer and why you shouldn’t despise days of suffering.
